Maureen Connors Potter, RN, BSN, MSN

Vice President of Quality and Clinical Services

As vice president of quality and clinical services, Ms. Potter continuously seeks to improve the overall patient experience by ensuring that the highest standards of regulatory compliance and patient safety are met within every Ardent facility. She is responsible for consistently improving performance with national patient safety goals, driving adherence to evidence-based best practices, and developing comprehensive quality improvement initiatives and service excellence.

Ms. Potter joined Ardent Health Services through its merger with LHP Hospital Group. Previously, she served as vice president for international services for The Greeley Company, a division of HCPro, Inc.    While in this position, she was responsible for the development and distribution of publications, information, education, training, and accreditation consulting to the global and domestic U.S. markets. Earlier in her career, Ms. Potter worked for the Joint Commission as executive director for disease-specific care certification and later as executive director for Joint Commission International where she oversaw accreditation operations.

Ms. Potter is a retired lieutenant colonel with the U.S. Army Medical Department and has more than 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Skidmore College and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Delaware.
