As chief people officer, Cheryl Chisholm is responsible for leading Ardent Health’s human resources strategy, including talent acquisition, leadership development, total rewards, employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.
Ms. Chisholm joined Ardent in 2025 as vice president of HR strategy, where she advanced key people initiatives, strengthened leadership development and supported efforts to enhance workforce engagement and operational performance.
She brings more than 20 years of human resources leadership experience in complex healthcare environments. Prior to joining Ardent, she served as chief human resources officer at Atlas Healthcare Partners, where she led people and culture strategies supporting growth, operational integration and large-scale transformation initiatives.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Chisholm spent more than a decade at Banner Health in senior human resources leadership roles.
