With more than 30 years of healthcare finance experience, Alfred Lumsdaine provides financial oversight across all organization activities and assets. He develops and executes Ardent’s long-range financial plans, leads short and long-term capital strategies and ensures proper internal controls.

Previously, Mr. Lumsdaine served as executive vice president and CFO of Quorum Health Corporation. In this role, he oversaw financial operations for the system's acute care hospitals and led a major financial restructuring and other strategic initiatives that significantly reduced the company’s debt and improved its financial position. Prior to joining Quorum Health in 2018, Mr. Lumsdaine was president of Population Health for Sharecare and spent five years as CFO for Tivity Health prior to its acquisition by Sharecare. He began his career at Ernst & Young where he spent more than eight years in the external audit practice with a focus on healthcare.

A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Mr. Lumsdaine earned both an undergraduate and a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Tennessee.
