BRENTWOOD, Tenn. (May 4, 2026) – Ardent Health (NYSE: ARDT), a leading provider of healthcare in growing mid-sized urban communities across the U.S., today announced the appointment of Cheryl Chisholm as chief people officer following a comprehensive national search.
As chief people officer, Chisholm will lead all aspects of human resources, including talent acquisition, leadership development, total rewards, employee engagement and organizational effectiveness. Since joining Ardent in September 2025, she has served as vice president of HR strategy and most recently as interim chief human resources officer. In those roles, she has advanced key people strategies, strengthened leadership development and supported initiatives to enhance workforce engagement and operational performance.

Chisholm brings more than 20 years of human resources leadership experience in complex healthcare environments. In addition to more than a decade at Banner Health, she served as chief human resources officer at Atlas Healthcare Partners, where she led people, culture and talent strategies supporting growth, operational integration and large-scale transformation.
