NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 21, 2024) – Ardent Health today announced the appointments of Ethan Chernin as president of its health services unit and Jason Ehrlinspiel as chief compliance officer.

As president of Ardent’s health services unit, Chernin will oversee Ardent’s physician practices and clinic operations, ambulatory strategy and development, and support its continued evolution toward value-based care through strategic growth efforts that address local healthcare needs. With 15 years of healthcare leadership experience, he most recently served as chief population health officer for Healthmap Solutions, a kidney population health management company serving health plans and provider groups. Chernin previously served as system vice president of population health for BayCare Health System, a 16-hospital health system in Central Florida, and chief operating officer of BayCare Physician Partners, and held senior leadership roles at Cleveland Clinic and University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan and earned an MBA at Case Western Reserve University.

Ehrlinspiel joins Ardent as chief compliance officer. He will lead Ardent’s compliance program with responsibility for driving a culture of ethical business practices, regulatory compliance and integrity across the organization. Prior to Ardent, Ehrlinspiel served as senior litigation counsel for HCA Healthcare and previously served as an assistant U.S. attorney in multiple states. He is a graduate of the University of the South and earned his JD from the University of Mississippi.
