Ardent Health Services Awarded Best CEO and Best Company for Women

NASHVILLE, Tennessee (December 15, 2021) – Ardent Health Services was awarded Best CEO and Best Company for Women this week by Comparably, a workplace culture and compensation review website, as part of its 5th Annual Best Places to Work Awards.

“First and foremost, this recognition reflects the dedication of a team of more than 26,000 professionals across the country who are deeply connected to our purpose of caring for others,” said Ardent President and CEO Marty J. Bonick. “I am proud to be part of a company that is focused on creating a culture of belonging for patients, their families and one another.”

Based on sentiment ratings from employees, Ardent was among a select group of recipients for Best CEO and Best Company for Women in the large company category of organizations with more than 500 employees. Comparably determines the rankings of highly rated companies by analyzing anonymous responses from current employees in 16 core workplace culture metrics collected from November 2020 to November 2021. More than 15 million ratings of 70,000 CEOs and organizations determined the winners in each category.

Ardent takes pride in providing team members with opportunities to grow personally and professionally  through signature programs such as Women @ Ardent, which seeks to elevate women leaders and provide all employees with development resources, and its Diversity & Inclusion Council, which is focused on ensuring equity and fairness in practices, policies and everyday interactions.

“Despite the hardships and challenges we have faced over the past year and a half, Ardent has emerged a stronger organization,” added Bonick. “We recognize the importance of a healthy, thriving workplace and we are committed to investing in our culture of excellence and finding new ways to support one another.”
