Terms and Conditions

When you sign up for text messages from AHS Management Company, Inc., you are signing up to receive text messages related to your relationship with AHS Management Company, Inc. and its facilities, partners, agents, and suppliers (“AHS”), including messages using automated dialing technology. Such messages may include updates related to your visits, MyChart account, billing notifications, prescription reminders, and care management. You do not need to provide this consent in order to receive services. However, you acknowledge that opting out of receiving text messages may impact your experience with portions of the services that rely on communications via text messaging.

You can opt-out of text messages by texting STOP to the text message received by you from AHS. Your opt-out request will generate one final text message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. You will no longer receive text messages from the short code you opted out from. If you want to join again, sign up using AHS MyChart, text START or text HELP to the short code for instructions.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Further, AHS will not be liable for any delays in the receipt of any text messages, nor will AHS be liable for any undelivered messages, as delivery is subject to effective transmission from your network operator.

You understand that text messages have inherent privacy risks, including that unencrypted text messages are not secure and could be accessed by an unauthorized party, intercepted, or altered without your knowledge or authorization. To learn more about our privacy practices with respect to your protected health information (PHI) and uses and disclosures of your PHI, please see the list below to access the Notice of Privacy Practices (NPP) for your appropriate facility.

Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency may vary. Applicable roaming charges may apply.

You agree to indemnify AHS and any third parties texting on AHS's behalf in full for all claims, expenses, and damages related to or caused, in whole or in part, by your failure to immediately notify AHS if you change your e-mail address or telephone number, including but not limited to all claims, expenses, and damages related to or arising under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.

AHS may immediately suspend or terminate your receipt and use of communications under this Section (i) if Company believes you are in breach of these Terms and Conditions, or (ii) in the event that your mobile telephone service terminates or lapses. AHS reserves the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, all or any part of AHS's communications program, with or without notice to you.
