Women @ Ardent's purpose is to network with and learn practical solutions from Ardent’s own women leaders, sharing industry knowledge and leadership experience. The goal is to support all women in our organization to overcome gender barriers and prepare themselves for leadership opportunities. We believe that having more diverse leaders makes our company stronger. 

Women @ Ardent is aimed at elevating women within our company by providing opportunities and resources to increase their visibility while developing vital leadership skills that further enhance the network of women at Ardent Health Services.

One of the ways we fulfill the mission of Women @ Ardent is to host webinars that cover a wide range of topics from leadership skills, finances, communication tactics to professional development. The webinars will consist of a presentation from an Ardent leader, industry leader or topic expert, followed by time for Q&A. Alll Ardent employees are welcome to join their desired sessions. The webinar topics will be announced via email and on the website.

Please join Women @ Ardent for a webinar on Coping with Life’s Challenges on Friday, September 25 from 12 – 12:45 pm CST. Our speakers, Dr. Arunditi Xantus, adult and adolescent psychiatrist at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler and Kelli Horn, RHIT, CCS, and Director of Coding Education at Ardent Health Services, will discuss how to recognize when stress, suffering and grief impact us or those around us, and resources available to help us address life’s challenges.

MyStrength App (resource)

myStrength, provided by Livongo Behavioral Health, offers a personalized program to help promote good mental health and wellness. This program is free to all Ardent employees and is available to employees’ family members (over the age of 13) enrolled in one of Ardent’s medical plans. You may recognize Livongo as our partner for our diabetes program. If you are enrolled in an Ardent medical plan and need assistance with diabetes, you can enroll for free at this time in addition to myStrength. myStrength is available 24/7 through an online account and mobile app that is private, safe and secure. You can choose what to focus on and can learn from hundreds of quick activities. The program uses clinically proven cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) approaches to help with: • Reducing Stress • Improving Sleep • Mindfulness & Meditation • Balancing Intense Emotions • Managing Depression • Pregnancy & Parenting • Managing Chronic Pain • Controlling Anxiety

Singing Through the Storm (book)

You Can Still Enjoy A Great Life Through Life Challenges. What counts in life is not what happens to us, but how we respond to it. Author Kelli Horn, and our September speaker, became acquainted with adversity after the loss of her father, sister, and two boyfriends. She has embraced them as learning opportunities.
